ROM preparation

Our ROM date has confirmed. *11th June 2011*. Submitted the form and documents to Thean Hou Temple last Saturday. Wow... I can't wait for our BIG day to come..

ROM to-do-list:

1. Short dress. I try to be different from other. Not necessary to wear white.

How about RED?

PURPLE is one of my fav 

I love BLACK. But many people do not consider this colour

2. Man attire.As easy as eating peanuts. At least easier than looking for MY dress.

3. Wedding Shoes. Weel, the heels need to match with my dress colour. And can be used for our PS as well. Some of the heels design i found from the net.

I personally prefer open-toe heels

4. Hand Bouquet. I roughly got an idea about our wedding theme colour --> soft purple + white

5. Wedding band. DONE!

6. Make-up and Hair-do. Still looking for suitable one. Thinking of engaging my MUA for AD, Grace.

7. Photographer. Probably, our close friends.

8. Accommodations for my family from Malacca. TBD soon.

Cupid Catch

Most anticipated event last weekend. Cupid Catch by Fly Fm was held in two places. One Utama and Sunway Pyramid. We were so excited and ready to win the RM2000 cash. But too bad.. We went back empty handed.. BUT... I got a small gift and get to hugged Ben.. Shhhh~

We reached One Utama about 12pm. Hosted by Zher and Prem (he was at Sunway Pyramid). After the briefing, we had packet of fruits as a starter. The 1st round was kinda messy. We did not realized that so many peoples Q-ing as early as 12.45pm. Cupids are supposed to give out the code at 12.45pm. Somehow, some of them distributed them earlier. Sigh.. So, we heard the DJs shouted 'We got the winner'.. There goes my 2k!!!

Then, we decided to fill our stomach with BBQ Chicken. (I'm on so-called strict diet. Haha) And some planning before the 2nd round starts.We played the game till 5th round, about 5pm. And we left without the RM2k cash.. Sad~

Oh ya.. I got 'heart' pillow from Crocs booth as well. Perhaps, can be used during our wedding PS. Better than nothing.. lol

Wedding Cinematography

Preparing photo slideshow is part of the Wedding Reception thingy. My task is to find some nice songs for the slides. And my future-husband is responsible for the slides. Pretty fair right? :)

Valentine's Day

After the serious silent war with him, we did so-called celebrate Valentine's with my ex-colleagues.

Oh ya.. some updates here. After that (silent war) night, WY text me the next morning. I don't angry silent for more than 24 hours.. Haha.. The reason why I planned for early V-day celebration on Saturday because of his work. He is supposed to be in the office on Sunday whole day.

We went to Pyramid for ice-skating on Sunday. Skating for the first time and I hurt my butt. Haha.

Initially, we plan to go I-City on Sunday night. But it was raining. Postponed it to Monday and ended with group of friends.

Happy Valentine's Day, darling

Bridal Studio

I arranged an appointment with May (Lasposa Bridal Studio) today. We reach there about 4pm but she was busy with other client. Waited for about 15mins. Discussed about gown fitting and PS dates. Finalized with 3 dates:

• 6th May - gown fitting in the evening (I still have few months to lose some inches. Haha)
• 27th May - Indoor and Outdoor PS (most probably Ulu Yam as our outdoor)
• 10th June - 2nd Outdoor PS (Sepang Gold Coast) 

May was kind enough to show us around. Plenty of wedding and evening gowns. I need to choose total of 7 gowns for PS itself. And 3 more gowns for actual day. Anyone volunteer to be my PA? :p

Yeah... Can't wait for the gown fitting session!!

When things turn ugly

12 Feb 2011 - Two days before Valentine’s Day and 14 months anniversary.

So excited about today.

1. CNY gathering with my ex-colleagues.  Not forgetting my cute ex HOD.
2. Meeting  my friends May and her sis, Eveline at their new house in USJ.
3. A surprise for early V-Day celebration

I left Malacca 7.45am this morning with my lil’ Ferrari. The traffic was superb. Lol. Seems like everyone still Zzz~ at this hour. I ordered special Valentine’s cuppies from my Wedding cake supplier (Siti Hawa) a week in advance. Discuss with her about the design and flavour. A nice and helpful lady. And I wanted to go to Look Out Point for the surprise V-Day. But….

First destination – William’s House @ Puchong. We had small gathering in the morning. Together with Damian, Cary, Yen Yen, EK n Yap. (angpow collections.. oppss).

Melv called and we decided to go Thean Hou Gong. We came here quite often. Lunch at MidValley with my sis, Jon, Kiat n Melv.

Next station,  Restrees at USJ 17. I googled about this place earlier. And the selling price is RM1.8m. Wow… High End Residential.. On the way to USJ, his phone rang. It was from someone that I know too. Honestly, I was unhappy that time.. Somehow, that call ruined my V-Day surprise.. I was totally not in the mood..

Last station, went back to WY's house. I left his house immediately after uncle came back with my car. I hate about crying while driving. But I just can’t control myself. NO V-day celebration. I am not blaming him or the caller either, really.
Why is it so difficult to express my emotions. If only he could understand. :(

Bai Ti Kong @ Malacca

Yeah.. I am at Malacca now~

Just done with Bai Ti Kong or also known as Praying to the Jade Emperor.. On the 8th day of CNY, all the Hokkiens (including Nyonya in my family) busy preparing their offering to Jade Emperor. I missed this celebration since I went to UM. So, I am so determined to come back this year. Hehe. Applied leave in advance as well. (2 days earlier. LOL).

Another family gathering at my house. Without my sister (busy preparing for her final exam). I wish my akong was here. :(

My neighbour (satay), funny name right? (Well, we have all sort of nicknames here in kampung.) had very 'high profile' celebration every year. A group of reporters came for photoshooting and interview. Unlike my house, we only had it small and simple. We only excited about the lion dance, firecrackers and fireworks. Even now at 2am, I can't sleep because of the noisy sound of firecracker.
