Happy Wedding Anniversary

Exactly one year from the date I was 'picked up' by him.

*In Chinese wedding, bridegroom is requires to pick up the bride at the bride's home. The newly-wed will serve tea to the bride's parents and extended family members as a form of respect. Followed by the similar ceremony at groom's house.

Thank you for being by my side when I needed.
Thank you for being my shining star.
I love you!

Happy wedding anniversary, hubby.

Thirty-four months

Exactly a week WY left for China. One more week and I'm already going crazy. :P

Well, I have been spoiled by the husband. Today marks our 34th months since we first started dating and 16 months since we tied the knot. Looking forward to many more anniversaries and celebrations together. But of coz I don't mind to be pampered MORE!

Our ROM, 11-June-2011

It took me some time to get used to calling him my husband. I prefer to address him by his name instead of 'my husband'. Of coz this is not the measure how much I love him. At least I don't call him 'lau de' (the old one) - term used by most of the wives to address their husbands. HAHA.

Very soon, we are going to have complete family with a lil' girl. But I feel nervous, scared, anxious and worried. It seems like I'm not ready for the baby's arrival. I've never imagined myself being a mother at this age. *Friday emo*

Ok. Let's talk about something happy! :)
We made a reservation at Palace of the Golden Horses Hotel for coming Saturday, a day after he returns from China. Short weekend getaway after 2 weeks of 'singlehood'. :)

It's baby girl

Taadaa.... We are expecting Christmas baby girl :)

Say hello to Ashley Tee~

I'm 28th weeks today! Will be sleeping alone for 15 days from today onwards - WY left for China this morning. Baby will definitely going to miss his funny voices.

Experienced morning sickness for almost 4 months. Dizziness, nausea and abdominal pain during my first trimester. Feeling emotional and crying more easily than usual. Urine infection during my 2nd month. And the pain was unbearable. But thank god that it wasn't appendicitis.

Stayed home for the whole month of May. I've had no appetite at all. Probably due to the morning sickness that happens all day long. WY was sent to Ghana for business trip when I need him the most. Tough 2 weeks without him plus all the symptoms taught me to be more independent and responsible. WY being the most supportive person. Was reluctant to wake him up most of the time but I was too weak. He did sleeps like a pig sometimes. Poor husband.

Getting much better in 2nd trimester. And I started to gain some weight. I eat everything! Except for sashimi and pineapple.. :P Second trimester is rather 'honeymoon' period for me. No more morning sickness and I had pretty big appetite. Even OB advised to monitor my glucose intake. Too much of desserts is bad!

Life as normal throughout the second semester except that my tummy getting bigger by the day, trouble breathing at night and difficult to sleep. At least I stop going to the toilet after every meal. Nausea and vomiting during early stage was a nightmare in my life!

The lil girl has been very active recently. She moves and kicks a lot. I think she's dancing happily in my tummy. Started to get cramps at my inner tights, feeling tired and lack of energy. Signs of 3rd trimester, perhaps. Looking forward to the 3rd trimester although I do feel nervous at the same time.

Whose tummy is bigger?

Honeymoon - Amsterdam Part2

We spent our 3rd day in Zaanse Schans - windmill village. We took train from Amsterdam Centraal to Koog-Zaandijk and walked about 10mins from the station.

Started with breakfast at cafe not far from the Centraal.

Blueberry cheesecake

Pizza for breakfast?!?

The wind was too strong and we could have flown away. Cold hands and pale face due to the strong wind. Love the beautiful scenery with blue sky and quiet place. We visited the wooden shoes workshop and hot drink at the cafe to keep us warm.

Let the pictures do the talking.

We don't need caption!

More photos in my Facebook album.

If given the chance, I will definitely return to Amsterdam! Never get enough of Amsterdam. :p

Honeymoon - Amsterdam

We left for Amsterdam on Valentine's eve. We did a little survey on the places to visit, booked the Free Tour of Amsterdam, secured a room and we spend 4 days in Amsterdam. Loving the weather and friend people there. Oh, we witnessed a pickpocket attempt on our way to airport (last day).
